Contract Termination Letter for Breach

Reviewed by lawyers Sent by email within 10 days Editable in Word Updated September 2026
This letter template is essential for those who need to terminate a purchase and sale contract due to non-compliance with legal requirements, especially in cases where the 14-day cancellation period was not mentioned.

The document guides you in drafting an effective communication, detailing the absence of this essential information and invoking the right to cancel the contract within the extended 12-month period.

The letter is designed to provide a clear and legally grounded argument, facilitating the contract cancellation process and ensuring the protection of your rights as a consumer.

If the information about the cancellation period is communicated to the buyer within the 12 months, the document also guides on how to proceed.

This template is an indispensable tool to ensure that commercial transactions comply with legal standards and consumer rights.
